Float The Third Oldest River In The World

Beer City Tubing is the perfect choice for floating down the French Broad River in Asheville with friends and family.  We are conveniently located just off Interstate 26 and we provide everything you need to float the river at rates far more affordable than anyone else in town.

Every tubing customer receives free parking, shuttle service, a deluxe inflatable tube, paddle, and life jacket (if desired). Our tubes are equipped with a headrest, cup holders, mesh bottom (to keep you cool), and carabiners for anchoring to other tubes.  Dry bags are available for an additional fee.

The Float

Parking is provided at 501 Glenn Bridge Road. After parking you will board a shuttle for a 12 minute drive up river. From there you will float back to your car. The duration of the tubing trip is dependent upon water level, but typically lasts 2-3 hours. This lazy section of the French Broad River averages 6-8 ft deep and is perfect for floating and swimming. You will not have to worry about dragging along the river bottom in this section. Along the way you are likely to see turtles, river otters, beavers, red-tailed hawks and be visited by brilliantly colored dragonflys.
