Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1: Can I bring beer?

Answer 1: Absolutely, but no glass or Styrofoam is permitted.



Question 2: Do I need a reservation?

Answer 2: No



Question 3: Do you provide lockers?

Answer 3: No, dry bags are available for rent if you need one.


Question 4: Do you provide tubes that are cooler specific?

Answer 4: No, all our tubes are large and have a mesh bottom. They will easily accommodate a 48 qt cooler. If your cooler is exceptionally large we can provide a bungee strap to keep it secure.


Question 5: Can I bring my own tube, SUP, or kayak?

Answer 5: No, private flotation equipment cannot be accommodated.


Question 6: Are you open during the work week?

Answer 6: No, with the exception of July 3rd and Labor Day.


Question 7: What are your hours?


Answer 7: Shuttles run from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday, gates are locked at dusk.


Question 8: How long does the trip take?


Answer 8: 2-3 hours depending on water level.


Question 9: Can we stop at Sierra Nevada Brewing along the way?

Answer 9: Yes, SNB is generally open from 11am until dusk on the weekends, but we cannot guarantee their hours since we are not affiliated so please call them directly to ensure that their lower park along the river will be open.


Question 10: What is your weather policy?

Answer 10: We will be closed if the river is unsafe to float due to high water levels or severe thunderstorms. In Asheville, storms usually pass quickly. Please check our Facebook page for up to date info.
